Soft Play Relocation and Installation - Play Haven
Services Provided:
A soft play structure was relocated from North Wales to Merriott, involving the full dismantling, transportation, and reinstallation of the equipment. The project was carried out to ensure the structure was safely removed, securely transported, and rebuilt to a high professional standard.
The process began with the complete removal of the soft play system at the original site in North Wales. Each component of the structure, including frames, platforms, netting, slides, and padding, was carefully dismantled and organised to ensure all parts could be transported safely and efficiently.
Following removal, the equipment was transported to Merriott. Upon arrival, the soft play system was fully reinstalled, with all structural elements securely reassembled and protective features such as netting, padding, and barriers properly fitted. Care was taken throughout the installation to ensure the structure was level, stable, and constructed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
After completion of the installation, an installation inspection was carried out to confirm the structure had been assembled correctly and met the required safety standards. This ensured the soft play equipment was safe, secure, and ready for use.
Hags Roundabout Installation at Curry Rivel Recreation Ground
Services Provided:
The installation of a new roundabout at Curry Rivel Recreation Ground was completed over a three-day period. The works involved the preparation of the ground, installation of the roundabout unit, and the laying of a safety surface to ensure the area meets playground safety requirements.
The process began with the excavation and preparation of the base area to accommodate the equipment and safety surfacing. A suitable foundation was then installed to securely anchor the roundabout and ensure long-term stability and safe operation.
Following the installation of the equipment, a 5.3-metre diameter wet pour safety surface was laid around the roundabout. The wet pour flooring provides a durable, impact-absorbing surface designed for playground environments. This type of surface offers a smooth, long-lasting finish that helps reduce the risk of injury from falls while also providing good drainage and accessibility.
The project was completed within three days, including ground preparation, equipment installation, and surfacing works, leaving the recreation ground with a new play feature that is safe, durable, and ready for public use.
